What I got done today:
- I weeded the back gardens. Not completely, but I got a fair bit done between rain showers.
- I spun the remainder of some alpaca roving I got in Rhinebeck last year.
- I plied the spinning.
- I bathed my daughter.
- I cleared out, de-cluttered and re-organized 4 kitchen cupboards.
- I emptied the dishwasher.
- I knit 1,800 stitches of a new project.
Let me show you some proof:
Spinning! Half done yesterday with JennyP, half done today. It's my first efforts, and I have to say I feel pretty good about it. There are spots that are way underspun, but there are also spots that look like real yarn!
And here are 1,800 stitches of new project.
How is this possible you ask? How can the mom of a 2 month old be so productive??
Need I say more?

Ahhh, the blessed peace that follows a growth spurt. I didn't tell you about that part - more fun to discover it for yourself, huh?
Love you, miss you, want to hug that child before I'm attending her wedding.
*Mwah*
See you Tuesday at Guild (and afters too, if you two can manage that much time). Oh, and as per your request, Trixie is coming to play. :)
What a sweet face!
So, when are you coming to my house? It needs cleaning and decluttering and I just never get around to it even without kids. You have superpowers, admit it!
Yeppers, we'll be at Guild . . . and THE FAIR! Can't wait to have something scheduled to look forward to again.
Definitely a growth spurt - we had to retire almost all of Sweet Pea's 0-3 month attire over the course of the week.
Sadly Batty, it's a long walk to your house. I have lots more to do around here -- babe permitting!
Look at your spinning! It DOES look like real yarn! Now, what to entice you with at the Fair...
Had a blast on Thursday. Can't wait for Saturday!
