You wouldn't like me when I'm angry . . .

Why do people insist on picking on my beautiful baby?

Seriously, the next person who calls her scrawny is getting a pinch. She is long (21 inches), and slender (just over 7 pounds) and lovely. She is chubbing up and getting adorable cheeks. Believe me, she is NOT scrawny.

Plus, she's got this adorable kitty hat.
Cat-eared baby hat
made with remnant Colinette Jitterbug from my Mermaid Mitts, on 2.25 and 2.5 mm needles. I did most of this hat while I was in the hospital with the baby, waiting for her to wake up and feed.
Motivation? They put this godawful pink acrylic garter hat on her -- and it had a seam up the back! Now, I am in fact a fibre snob, so I knit as fast as I could to replace that thing with this hat -- but I wasn't fast enough. I feel pretty badly about being so ooked out by that hat though, someone took the time to make it out of the goodness of her heart. I just wish they had saved it for a baby that NEEDED it. We had 3 or 4 hand knit hats in her bag!

From another mother who had 2 long and lean babies tell "them" to hush. Heck I had complete strangers tell me that I should feed my baby more. Well I was having a bad day and gave her a few choice words =)

Love the hat!

She is adorable. Enjoy ever minute!

Odd question for you. When does canada tell you to vaccinate your child? I have a two month old here in the states. I'm doing a little survey.

She's beautiful and perfect. If she's not fussin' for a boob then she's not hungry, therefore you're feeding her just what she needs! Mine's on the long lean side of things too!

Who are these people?? I can attest from first-hand observation that she is the most delightful an beautiful little girl I've ever seen. So, the next time someone says otherwise, I'll hold them down while you get 'em.

Vee was 21.5" and 7lbs 2oz when she came home. Clearly, they get rounder. :D

Tell all *those* people to stick a sock in it.

Wow, how rude of people! She is the most beautiful baby just as she is! My poor boss, she just had her baby at 36 weeks and he was 4 lbs 9.5 oz, I can't imagine what people will say to her! Yikes! The nerve!
