A myriad of stuff and things.
This one rolls over now. Both directions. Has done for about 2 weeks now. He's also very fond of snuggling. He's . . . well . . . clingy. And loud. And opinionated. We're in that wretched stretch of infancy where said baby wants to do and try everything on his own - and simply isn't capable. It leads to a lot of crying. Factor in the teething, and oh holy shit.
That said, he's a happy little baby. He loves to play. All. The. Time. Our days and evenings are a mix of aggravation and laughter. I'm not getting things done like I want to! And yet, I know from experience it'll be over far too soon.
And if I may brag . . . my little boy is ahead on the milestone that matters most: touching his penis. I am such a proud mommy.
Sweater knitting. This project is total murder on my hands. The yarn is a discontinued one - Debbie Bliss Stella. It's a cotton/silk blend. No bounce or give in that one at all. I'm loving the way it looks though. Can't wait to see it finished. But it's tough given . . . life . . . at the moment.
Pattern: Gramps
My knitted companion cube. Well, 2 sides of it anyway. I started it eons ago . . . it's not really an enjoyable knit, I find. But I love it anyway! And if you don't know why this is awesome (!!) you need to discover Portal.
We have Portal 2 now - I haven't seen much of it . . . but I'm very much looking forward to it. I missed GlaDOS. It's nice when a video game character just really comes together for you.
Doll #24
I realize I haven't shared dolls #21 on, and I'm working on it. I've made 24 now. Yup.
Election
Next Monday, Canadians are headed to the polls for a big, exciting election!! In actuality, this election is dullsville. I haven't heard much about . . . anything really. I mean, there was the Liberal candidate in Toronto (I think) who had a handler removing opponents flyers from mail boxes. There's shitharperdid.com, which will make you cringe, gasp, and goggle all at once. Seriously, if you haven't been yet, you've got to check this site out. But there's really nothing impressive going on. Politicians are douchebags. This isn't new. I still haven't decided how I'm voting. More research needed. One thing is certain though - I WILL be voting.
